Earth Day Fête

Thank you to all who attended our spring Open House and Bridal Showcase last Wednesday evening! The event was a great succcess, thanks to the help of all of our fabulous vendors who participated that night.

Welcome to our Earth Day Fête! Inviting Affairs provided the programs which guests used as fans for the warm spring evening.

Thanks to Marquee for providing the linens for the evening. The chocolate brown, apple and emerald green complimented each other perfectly!

Pascal's Catering provided delicious hors d'oeuvres and displayed them beautifully.

Ilios Lighting provided uplighting for the trees which made The Allan House glow a beauitful shade of violet!

The Allan House's next Open House & Bridal Showcase: Earth Day Fête will be Wednesday, April 21st from 5:30 PM -8:30 PM.

As always, admission is complimentary. We will be featuring a selection of our favorite Austin wedding vendors.

Earth Day Fête Inspiration

Check out this fabulous inspiration board for our April 21st Spring Open House & Bridal Showcase: Earth Day Fête. After choosing the color palette for the event I decided to create an inspiration board to get a feel for the type of atmosphere I wanted to create.

Fortunately while perusing the web, I came across Dessy's inspiration board creator. The Dessy Group has partnered with Pantone to provide an easy way for brides to be to make their vision come to life.

With  Pantone Wedding you can design inspiration boards that show off your favorite colors, styles, accessories and inspirational photos. After you create your inspiration board you can share it with your wedding party and vendors via email or post it on your wedding blog or website.

Fall Open House & Bridal Showcase

The Allan House's Fall Open House and Bridal Showcase was a great success last month and an absolute joy to plan with all the fabulous vendors! As the wedding venue's  intern, I felt extremely lucky to meet all the flexible and generous people that donated their time for the night. Thank you to all the guests that came out, despite the chance of rain. We were so glad the weather cleared right before the event!

The Allan House - Downtown Austin Outdoor Wedding Venue

Laura from Marquee Rents was a huge blessing, providing tables and linens to die for! The green and oranges brightened the atmosphere and made our tables look dazzling. She was very organized and provided exactly what we needed.

Blossom from Blossom's Floral Artistry was an amazing asset to the night. She brought in everything from pumpkins to flowers to lanterns for creating  fabulous fall centerpieces and decorating our house and grounds. She really tied the Ripe Delight theme together for us, and we could not thank her enough.

The team from Pink Avocado made delicious food and displayed it beautifully. It looked wonderful, but tasted even better. They put a lot of time into the event, and we were so happy they participated.
